Family time!

This past weekend we got to go to Sandy and see some of the Caplin Family and play with our nieces and nephews. We don't see them too often so it was so fun to be around them! They are all so cute and we love them. :) We have four nieces and four nephews. One of the boys was just born and him and I share the same birthday so we got to meet him for the first time!

San Diego 2011

This past week we got to go to SAN DIEGO with 5 other friends Bryant Green, Amber Armour, Brent Dean, Chanelle Ence, and Ben Farley. We had a blast! We left Monday morning at 2 a.m. since we were so excited to go and stayed till friday. We stayed in a nice house about ten minutes from the ocean. Some of the things we did while we were there was swim, play volleyball, boogie board, skim boarded, surfed, ate out, played games, had a bonfire on the beach, and rode on rides at a carnival. I wish we didn't have to leave but life goes on!

Family Reunion 2011

This past weekend we had a great family reunion in Bear Lake! It was so fun. First we started off the trip driving up North to pick up Hillary, Kyler, and Livy. Brandon and I had driven up there in a suburban with my parents and brother Brooks and then added three more into our packed car! We made the car a fun trip. We got up to Bear Lake Friday and stayed till Monday. There was so many fun things we got to do.

• We went dirt biking,
• boating,
• played volleyball,
• had mini relays for the kids and adults,
• got the famous Raspberry Shakes,
• stayed up late,
• played games,
• and ate really yummy food.

It was so much fun! We had a blast enjoying everyone's company. While boating at the lake I got horribly sun burnt especially on my face which made me miserable but it was still so great to be there.

So I have become addicted to a game called PICK that was taught to me by a few of my cousins and so I had to blog about it! I seriously play it at least 4 days a week and multiply times a day with anyone and everyone! Brandon also loves it so it makes it very convenient when we are with friends or family to just play! It's a fast pace game and it is kind of like scrabble but SO much better!

Rules: Everyone starts out with four scrabble tiles in front of them. When everyone is ready you say flip and begin to make words. As soon as you have used all of your tiles you say pick and EVERYONE grabs another tile.(tiles are all flipped face down in the middle of the table). This continues to go on until all the tiles are gone. Everyone should have the same number of tiles throughout the whole game. Hint: you can always be rearranging your board. When someone has used up all of their tiles they stop! Everyone then counts up how many points they got by counting the number on the tile. Just like scrabble. You get to double your number if you used the tile more than once!

I think the highest score to beat with four people playing is 102?

Newly Weds!

Brandon and I were recently married in the St. George Temple. We have been living in St. George for the summer and have been loving the great weather. We were so lucky as to rent my great grandma's condo while living down here and we love it. In just a few weeks we will be moving up to Provo for school. Brandon will be attending BYU and he is going to study Ancient Near Eastern Studies. He is so excited for it. I attend UVU and am wanting to go into Dental Hygiene but just working on my pre-reqs. to get in. We are sad to be leaving the best place on earth (St. George) but we are also anxious to get done with our schooling!
